Hawaii Volcanoes National Park announces the following upcoming flight plans for July and August:

• 10-10:30 a.m. July 13 for petrel monitoring from the summit of Kilauea to Mauna Loa at about 9,000 feet elevation.

• 10 a.m.-noon July 14 and 16 to transport camp supplies, equipment between Hilina Pali and Kamooalii for control of invasive fountain grass.

• July 20-22, times to be determined, for ungulate surveys and control work in the Kamooalii area near Hilina Pali.

• 6:30-7 a.m. July 24 for petrel monitoring from the summit of Kilauea to Mauna Loa at about 9,000 feet elevation.

• 6:30-7 a.m. Aug. 10 for petrel monitoring from the summit of Kilauea to Mauna Loa.

• 9-11 a.m. Aug. 17 and 21 to transport camp supplies and equipment between Hilina Pali and Pepeiao to control invasive silk oak.
